Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement concerning the provision of an Airport Transfer, Local or Long Distance Service (” Service“) between you and Cleggy’s Taxi . Use of the service indicates your unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement.
Any changes sought by the customer to the terms or conditions shall have no effect unless agreed in writing by the Company.
Bookings
Cleggy’s Taxi will provide you quotation for your airport transfer, long distance or local journeys based on the information provided by you is correct.
Airport Transfers:
You must allow sufficient time when booking your Taxi to allow for the check-in times required by your airline and for any delays caused by traffic conditions. Cleggy’s Taxi shall not be responsible for any delay caused by your failure to allow enough time to reach your destination or if the passengers are not ready for collection at the booked time.
You must order a suitable car size for the number of passengers and luggage. Cleggy’s Taxi cannot guarantee to carry excessive amounts of luggage. Please note that a child/baby no matter what age, counts as one passenger.
Cleggy’s Taxi will always check for flight delays before the driver leaves for the airport but can only rely on the information supplied by the Airport Websites or flight radar 24.
Once you have accepted your quotation, please check your booking confirmation carefully and inform Cleggy’s Taxi promptly for any errors. Cleggy’s Taxi shall not be responsible for any delays caused or costs arising from your failure to provide Cleggy’s Taxi with correct information.
All car parking charges shall be paid on the day of collection from the airport by the customer.
Payments can be made by credit, debit cards, cash and bac. Payments by cheque is not accepted.
A full receipt can be printed ask Cleggy’s Taxi for this.
You shall be responsible for the behaviour of all passengers in the car during the whole journey. A charge of £100.00 on top of the fare will be levied to cover the cleaning costs if the vehicle is soiled or any body fluid by any passenger.
Eating and drinking in the cars is not permitted. Exceptional circumstances for babies and medical reasons will be permitted with prior permission. All children should be restrained in a manner that befits the laws and regulations at the time. Suitable child seats should wherever possible be supplied and fitted by the child’s parent / guardian. These can be held by the driver in the event of a return journey booking.
Smoking or Vaping is never permitted in any of our vehicles.
Cancellations and Bookings
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact Cleggy’s Taxi as soon as possible. All cancellations made before 48 hours of the booking time will not incur a penalty charge. Refunds will be given at the discretion of Management. In exceptional circumstances, a penalty of up to 50% of the fare can be levied for late cancellations.
As a rule, journeys from airports are dispatched up to one/two hour before flight arrival (depending on airport) journeys within areas we provide a service to are normally dispatched up to fifteen minutes before their due time.
Invoices will be sent for cancellations of a booking that have not been pre-paid, these invoices must be paid within 14 days and any unpaid invoices will incur a minimum 10% charge of the original invoice amount. The time stipulated for payment shall be of the essence of the Agreement. Failure to pay within the period specified shall entitle us to write to you and upon the expiration of seven days’ notice, to charge you for costs and expenses incurred in recovering late payments, and to charge interest at the rate then in force pursuant to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 as at the due date or on the above rate whichever is the greater.
Cleggy’s Taxi recommends phoning us on our contact number to cancel with the telephone staff.
Refunds to credit / debit cards can only be refunded to the original card used within 7 Days of the original booking date subject to 1.79% handing fee.
Liability
Cleggy’s Taxi shall use all reasonable endeavours to get you to your destination on time but shall not be liable for any loss due to delays caused by road or traffic conditions beyond its control on the journey. Under no circumstances shall Cleggy’s Taxi be liable for any loss of profits, business or for any indirect or consequential loss whatever. Cleggy’s Taxi aims at running a reliable service for you, however sometimes cars cannot arrive at time of booking due to reasons beyond our control. If the car is running late, please contact the Cleggy’s Taxi immediately for an update.
All luggage is carried entirely at your own risk. Lost property is kept by the office for a period of 3 weeks before being disposed of.
Cleggy’s Taxi is entitled to cancel all services and provide up to 100% of the refunds (within 7 days of the original booking date), in the event of circumstances beyond their control.
You shall indemnify Cleggy’s Taxi against all losses, costs, damages and expenses arising from any act or omission of any passenger in your party.

Neither party excludes or limits its liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for wilful default or fraudulent misrepresentation, or otherwise in any manner unenforceable by any applicable law.
Customer Service
For any issues arising, please contact the Cleggy’s Taxi who will attempt to resolve the issue immediately. In the unlikely instance a satisfactory resolution is not met, you can leave your name and number and a member of the management team will contact you within 24 hours.
Disputes
In the unlikely event of an event of a dispute arising, notice must be given within 14 days of the invoice date. In the event of no such notification being received by the company the customer shall accept the amount as being properly due and shall not be entitled to dispute this sum.
Miscellaneous
Cleggy’s Taxi shall store, process and use all information regarding your personal details in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998. The terms of this agreement shall prevail if a discrepancy arises between a quotation and this agreement.
